Today is a day that will forever change my life and the lives of a few other people. Myself, and a about 12 other people will be making a trip of the lifetime--backpacking through Europe spreading the Gospel. We will start in Stutgart, Germany and travel our ways through three other countries by train or by air in a manner of two weeks by ending our excursion in Paris, France.
Words cannot express the amount of excitement that I have as well as the amount of fear of the unknown of what is will take place. All I can pray is that God will protect us and guide us every step of the way through the leading of the Holy Spirit. If someone told me that I would be taking this trip to advance the Kingdom of God a few years ago, I would have told them that they are crazy and need to go sit in the corner for a 10 minute timeout. Although, the excitment and fear has increased my level of faith in God. While traveling, I am expected to see the dead be resurrected, the blind see, the death hear, and experience the greatest miracle ever--rejoicing with heaven to see one more soul be saved by the grace, love, and mercy of Jesus Christ.
For all of those who will be reading this blog, my prayer is that you will read this blog to get a view of the world from the all of us who will be traveling as well as a greater heart for the people of God, whether they are saved or not. Keep us in prayer as 12 Regent students take a cross-cultural missions trip of a lifetime to advance the Kingdom of God.
Blessings,
Christy
